Contemporary dance, theatre and music, established authors and emerging international artists; this festival is reconfirmed as one of the most interesting in the Italian panorama.

A festival of music, digital art and live performance… The program is packed, and some dates are unmissable, such as the first in Italy of the Icelandic artist Olafur Arnalds.

The singer-songwriter’s tour takes its name from her eleventh studio album, an important work consisting of twelve Italian and thirteen English tracks.

A journey into the world of the iconic Bolognese singer-songwriter on the tenth anniversary of his death. Materials and documents, many of which are exhibited for the first time, document the human and artistic path of one of our time’s most loved Italian artists.

Great cinema plays in Rome and does so with the famous Italian Cinema Orchestra in a new international review dedicated to this great music and its protagonists.

18.10.22 – 22.01.23 PIER PAOLO PASOLINI. TUTTO È SANTO. SEDI VARIE

On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini (Bologna, 5 March 1922 – Rome, 2 November 1975), the Palaexpo Special Company in Rome, the National Galleries of Ancient Art – Palazzo Barberini and the MAXXI National Museum of XXI Arts century celebrate the figure of the director, writer and artist in their respective museums, with a large coordinated and shared exhibition project, entitled Pier Paolo Pasolini. All is holy, which will take place between October 2022 and March 2023.

A path that intertwines disciplines, media, original works and archive documents according to three autonomous in-depth guidelines but conceived to solicit unpublished reflections on Pasolini’s production, on the cultural influence it has exercised and on the gaze of those who observe it from the 21st century.

An exhibition on the relationship between structural engineering, vernacular or avant-garde, and the invasion of technology in our functional and vital spaces with a focus on the works of great structural engineers from the post-war period to today, highlighting the various approaches and iconic buildings such as the Beaubourg or the Sydney Opera House.
